There are a number of things to take into consideration how often commercial range hoods should be cleaned?
Every canopy is distinctive to the type of food that is cooked and of course the volume of food that is produced under that rangehood.
First, of course, there is compliance. Counsel and insurance have a 12 monthly compliance and that’s regulatory, but there are many other things to consider.
Now, a lot of insurers I’ve seen over the last 10 years have now changed the rules slightly, and they’re making their clients tighten up and have their commercial range hoods cleaned on a much shorter cleaning schedule.
They are now making the clients clean their range hoods every six months instead of every 12, pushing the mandatory across and lessening the time to ensure that there is a lesser risk of fire hazards.
How often should commercial range hoods be cleaned
So, then we go back to common sense and fire hazards, and that all depends on the frequency or the volume of work that each kitchen has. Now, this is a large hotel south of the border. And we do this one on a six-monthly basis. It doesn’t do a lot of steaks. So proportionately, it’s not so bad, but still, there’s a, quite a volume of grease buildup. But in saying that if it’s if you have a venue that does a lot of states, we did the breakfast Creek Hotel every one month, their main grill or the Norman hotel every three months.
